Guide & outfitter AI Identity checklist
For night-fishing guides, river outfitters, and bank-side operators. Your AI Identity is what models say when someone asks who to book, where to fish after dark, or your business name.
Goal (one week): one clear sentence, consistent name/phone/area, one page worth quoting, waters/region on the public file.
Day 1 — One sentence
- Who you guide + what waters/style + where (region/state).
- Put it on the homepage — not only a buried about page.
- Same line on Google Business / main profile if you have one.
Day 2 — Name · phone · season
- Legal/trade name identical everywhere you control.
- Phone and “when you’re bookable” consistent (season/nights).
- Kill dead “book now” pages with old numbers.
Day 3 — A page models can quote
- Services/outcomes page: species, trip type, safety note, area.
- Use words clients use (“night flathead,” “river cat,” not only slogans).
- Clear booking path (form or email).
Day 4 — Area & waters
- One line: regions/rivers you actually run (honest scope).
- Same on contact + listings.
Day 5 — Proof crumb
- One proof: years guiding, license if public, notable trip type — dated if quote.
Day 6 — Ask the machines
- Private window: “best night catfish guide near [your water]” and your business name.
- Note wrong river, missing site, competitor first.
- Fix only what you control this week.
Day 7 — Leave a trail
- Update one external listing.
- Optional: free AI Identity Snapshot (Answer Authority).
Grow the file forward. Evidence planting beats after-the-fact props.
